The Iraq occupation has current $ costs, opportunity costs, and future costs to refurbish equipment and re-train our troops. It's easy to say "I support the troops;" but by voting to keep them in Iraq, you're deciding that they can't be trained or equipped to do anything else except garrison duty in Iraq. That leaves the U.S. less ready to face other threats around the world.
