Levine and Ames conclude their scoop on the Koch's and Hayek's hypocrisy thusly:

"Why didn't Charles Koch offer to put up some of his enormous wealth to pay for Hayek's temporary medical insurance? One obvious answer: because the state had already offered a better and freer program. But perhaps Koch's stinginess also reveals the social ethic behind libertarian values: every man for himself; selfishness is a virtue."

Fed bailouts: $16 trillion... and counting

As Alan Grayson and others are pointing out, page 131 of this report from the GAO to Congress shows that from December 1, 2007 to July 31, 2011, the Fed has lent $16.1 trillion to U.S. and foreign banks!

As Grayson notes, that's $50,000 for every man, woman and child in the U.S.

But for the federal government to compel those same banks to give Americans something in return, like real mortgage modifications and debt relief for "stupid" borrowers, would be wrong both morally and economically.

Folks, we've been had. Our thanks to Michele Bachmann for this life-saving revelation. This is like that part in the movie when the hero who has been chasing the bad guy the whole time suddenly realizes the devil is the other guy who is now walking up to the dais to applause and handshakes.

It wasn't Obama... it was Cain all along! Don't you see? It was a big diversion. Cain is the Anti-Christ!

He could have made it the 8-8-8 or the 10-10-10 plan, but no, Cain chose 9-9-9. (6-6-6 would have been too obvious).

The signs are all there. I mean, Herman Cain -- Herman CAIN. Come on! Cain killed Abel! And Quoth Wikipedia:
