Some people think that Obama is like one of those inflatable punching clowns... in reverse. He's still full of hot air, but instead of always popping back up when you hit him, just a threat of a nudge makes him and he fall over and stay down. Put simply, they think Obama's a pu--y.
Cenk Ugyur thinks the problem is that Obama stands for nothing; his only real value is compromise, therefore he always gives way, then pats himself on the back for another "victory" for the American people.
But I think the truth is worse: Obama, like his former consigliere Rahm Emanuel, really despises progressives. By accident of birth (race), upbringing, and probably aesthetic taste, he is a Democrat; but by education, experience, and choice of friends, he is at best a moderate Republican. He is a NE coast, Ivy-League educated, tycoon-worshiping white man trapped in an urban Chicago black man's body.
I've had it. I'm done with this guy. He's giving real bleeding heart liberals and radical progressives a bad name. He didn't even give our side (progressives) a shot at trying something different, and now we've lost Congress and we'll lose the White House in 2012.
The infuriating irony is that far-right conservatives call him a crypto-socialist. If only! If only I still believed that Obama had liberal-progressive values at heart! Thirty percent of the country wants to see his bloody head on a platter, no matter what he does. He's either too isolated or full of himself to realize that they've all got knives behind their backs for him. He can only beat them, not orate at them. It's like arguing with chimpanzees. They only understand who is the Alpha Male and brute political force.
