U.S. military wants to take away troops' guns


There seems to be one set of rules for the U.S. Military that most Americans accept as OK, and another rule for the rest of us, and the rest of the U.S. Government.  For example, the military gives our troops socialized medicine and everybody's OK with that.  

Now the Pentagon, in an attempt to stop a wave of military suicides, is encouraging spouses and family to take troops' personal guns away when they struggle with mental illness.  And the Pentagon is handing out trigger locks.  You know, er, because people kill people, not guns.

Let's wait and see how the NRA and the gun nuts react to this....
