I've seen scare tactics like this before from Dick Morris and others. It's a very interesting switch, because Republicans are basically criticizing Democrats for not covering everything with Medicare, or at least the most expensive treatments.
Up is down, black is white, and Republicans are trying to be the party of giving away Big Government goodies, while Democrats are trying to reign in out-of-control medical costs.
What's next, the Democrats as the War Party? Oops....
